Mindy Zellner 
Principal

Mindy Zellner has served as Principal of Maple Dale Elementary since July 2021, following five years as assistant principal. A 1993 Sycamore graduate, she began her teaching career in 1998 and has held various roles including Gifted Intervention Specialist and District Gifted Supervisor. She continues to oversee Sycamore’s gifted programming, co-leads the district STEAM Council, and supports MAP assessment implementation. Zellner holds degrees from Ohio Wesleyan and Xavier University and is pursuing her Principal’s License at the University of Cincinnati. She lives in Mason with her husband and three daughters.

Danielle Gray
Assistant Principal

Danielle Gray brings 27 years of experience in education and began serving as Assistant Principal at Maple Dale Elementary in 2024. She holds a Bachelor's in Montessori Education from Xavier University and two Master's degrees from the University of Cincinnati in Curriculum & Instruction and Educational Leadership. Danielle previously served as Principal at Woodford Academy and Winton Woods Primary South. Passionate about the lasting impact of education, Danielle is driven by its importance to children and families. Outside of school, she enjoys quiet mornings with coffee, Mexican food, and traveling.
