Mindy Zellner

Principal
Mindy Zellner has been proud to serve as Principal of Maple Dale Elementary since July 2021, after five rewarding years as assistant principal. A 1993 Sycamore graduate, she began her teaching journey at Sycamore in 1998 and has served a variety of roles along the way, including Gifted Intervention Specialist and District Gifted Supervisor.
 
Mindy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Ohio Wesleyan University and her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Xavier University. She is also a proud mom of three daughters who are in college or graduate school. When she’s not at school, she loves to travel with her husband, lose herself in a good book, or take her French Bulldog for walks.
 
Mindy believes in the incredible power of elementary education to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and open doors for children. She is passionate about nurturing both students and staff, creating a warm and supportive community where everyone feels seen, valued, and encouraged to grow.

Natalie Moss

Interim Assistant Principal

Natalie Moss is proud to serve as Assistant Principal, bringing deep roots and a strong commitment to the district. Having attended Maple Dale Elementary as a child and graduated from Sycamore, Natalie’s journey in education came full circle when she began her teaching career at Maple Dale in 2010. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (PreK–5) from Miami University and holds two Master’s Degrees: one in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in English as a Second Language, and another in Educational Leadership.

Over the years, Natalie has served students and families in a variety of impactful roles, including Kindergarten teacher, Reading and Math Intervention Specialist, and Assistant Principal at E.H. Greene Intermediate.

When she is not at school, Natalie loves spending quality time with her husband and their two children. She is an avid Bengals fan, enjoys building puzzles, and loves spending time outdoors camping. Natalie believes in the power of building strong, genuine relationships to collaboratively and intentionally meet the needs of every student and staff member. She is passionate about cultivating a supportive, collaborative school community where all students are encouraged to grow to their full potential.
